Absolutely beautiful!

I was in a 3 month intensive course on Holistic Sustainability, and we learned a lot about alternative economics. Charles Eisenstein even zoomed in to teach us. Very inspiring. And so true how the gifts strengthen the communal bonds between us.

For another bit of further reading, I recommend Robin Wall Kimmerer's *Braiding Sweetgrass* particularly the chapter "The Gift of Strawberries" 💙

The gift economy is a huge part of my process in being on Substack as well. All of my publications will be forever free, because I created them as gifts for the world 🌎 It feels so nourishing for my heart that way.

Thanks again for sharing!

Oh wow, that course sounds great! Thank you for the book recommendation, I found a version of “Braiding Sweetgrass” in our community library… it’s for younger readers, so it has tons of beautiful illustrations.

This is great- You all are singing my tune, I also am giving Wildlands freely, with paid option available to those who are inclined to give, and Braiding Sweetgrass and Charles are wonderful, too.
